The mission of the Sustainable Living Center is to find ways to have a sustainable and quality life in these challenging times. We are an Education and Research Center based in Lincoln City, Oregon. The Center uses Permaculture, Off-Grid techniques, and Technology to find DO IT YOUR (DIY) methods of food production, water harvesting, energy production, shelter, and health (keto lifestyle)
The Center is financially sustainable because it rents Kayaks, Boats, and Crab Traps, offers DIY workshops, and Smoking and Food Canning services.
We are self-directed and answer to no group or government agency. Although drugs are legal in the state of Oregon, all members of the Center are drug-free.
The Center is a group of interns and volunteers who live nearby or in one of our on-site living options.

We believe that a critical imbalance of food demand and supply is coming.
New research from Yale University and Michigan State University shows that the world has already reached Peak Food production. Click Here to see their new research “Have we reached ‘peak food? Shortages loom as global production rates slow.”
This crisis will peak sometime before the year 2030, leaving large groups of people without enough to eat. Our food production can be affected by a Northwest Tsunami, changing weather patterns, factory farming, increasing price of oil, dwindling supplies in fish\crops, global debt, inflation, or total economic collapse.
When the crisis does come, you have a choice, be a Grower, a Hoarder or a Detainee of the Homeland Security Dept.
Regardless of how much food you hoard, there is a limit.
Food production on the cool Oregon Coast is different from food production in hot humid Iowa. We have an Education and Research Center in Lincoln City, Oregon. At each location, we experimented with Sustainable, Permaculture, and Off Grid techniques and technology to use existing materials to solve our food production challenges of the coast.
Research Center is a Living and Learning Laboratory with Free Mentoring Sessions
Mentoring Sessions
Education is a major component of our work at the Center; participants are exposed to much more than the typical Sustainable Living experience. We help each find what will bring internal JOY.
As part of the program, there are free 5 hours of Sustainable Mentoring Sessions in the following areas:
The Secrets of Happiness Mentoring offers a comprehensive guide to understanding what happiness is, and isn’t, and what can be done to bring us all closer to the happy life we envision for ourselves. You will be introduced to the latest results of positive psychology from Harvard, Stanford, Loyola University, U of Chicago, U of Penn, U of California – Davis, and U of Minnesota. By using these results, one can increase their happiness level.
Mentoring offers a new and potentially life-changing way to understand our innate relationships of joy and happiness as well as our ability to sustain it in our lives.
Nearly all of us buy into the myths of happiness—beliefs that certain adult achievements (marriage, wealth, children) will make us forever happy and that certain adult failures or adversities (illness, divorce) will make us forever unhappy. Overwhelming research evidence show this is not true by joining this study group on Wednesdays, you can learn how to increase your happiness.

The successful people who have achieved financial freedom by following their natural path highlight these paths. This is to say; they found the match that suited their TAGs (Talents, Attributes, and Gifts)
Could you imagine Richard Branson as a footballer or Bill Gates as a fishmonger?
No, they discovered the TAGs they were born with and capitalized on them. They followed a path they loved, their path of least resistance, and excelled at it.
Wouldn’t you like to find your path, benefit from your natural strengths, and excel?
